Miss Congeniality by Lucy Loves Schroeder (from Lucy Is A Band, Beatville, 2001)

Lucy is more than a band. She is a psychiatrist, place holder and philosopher.

Cooperstown by Terry Cashman (from Cooperstown: the Town Where Baseball Lives, Winthrop Records, 2000)

Tightrope by Jah Wobble and Julie Campbell (from Psychic Life, Cherry Red, 2011)

I saw Jah Wobble onstage once, playing bass for Public Image, Ltd. He was sitting on a stage at Boston’s Channel club, just playing the bass while John Lydon (nee Rotten) passed out beers to the underage. He was also in an excellent band called Swell Maps.

Skateboard Song by Norma Tracy and Cinderella Kids (from The Shangri-Las & The ’60′s Girl Group Garage Sound, Goldenlane Records, 2010)

The 2010 Grammy Award winner for Needlessly Long Band Name and Album Title.

Globetrottin’ by The Globetrotters (from Globetrottin’, Blaricum, 2009)

“Have you heard the song Globetrottin’ by The Globetrotters on their Globetrottin’ record? It’s just so totally Globetrotters…”
