The NCAA is facing growing scrutiny from college athletes, coaches, and the people who follow college sports. The current issue of the Atlantic Monthly features an article by Pulitzer-prize winning historian Taylor Branch — author of Parting the Waters, The Clinton Tapes, and others — entitled “The Shame of College Sports,” which criticizes the corruption within the NCAA.  Taylor Branch joins Bill Littlefield on Only A Game this week to discuss his article, the current status of the NCAA, and whether we should expect reform in the organization in the near future.
