Dave, you are inspiration and a reminder to us all that we should be devoting some part of our lives to helping and easing the burden and suffering of others. Our military members and their families carry a weight we cannot imagine. They are so deserving of your kindness
and generosity. You have my gratitude and admiration.
    Three cheers for you!

Dave….ditto to what Donna said!….back when my husband was in USMC stationed overseas during Viet Nam era… he used to quote the old adage…”God and soldier all men adore…in times of trouble and no more. When war is over, and all wrongs righted…God is forgotten and the old soldier slighted” I’m so corny…it used to make me teary-eyed….actually,it still does, and that’s why we are so happy about what you are doing. You have no idea how far your kindness will travel…on SO many levels.
    Endless gratitude to YOU!

Just heard about what you are doing on “Its Only a Game” on NPR. Was out tending to my horses with headset on and came straight in to find your site, send a donation, add your site to my FaceBook profile and sent a message to the Colbert Report suggesting that they feature your efforts on their show. (It would be funny, of course, but right up their alley, would increase awareness for what you are doing as well as increase donations.) Would also be great if they could get you on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.
Anyway, though I totally do not support the wars or how we got into them, the veterans and their families deserve support and awareness of their sacrifices.
What you are doing is so cool!
Thank you for doing something and providing a way for those of us who support the troops to contribute to their welfare as they return. Your dedication is an inspiration.
    Bless you!

I was out running in the pouring rain listening to the podcast this morning and couldn’t help but feel inspired. Dave, you are dead on with your mission and I will go to your website to support your cause. Bill, you’re show always leaves me with something new and inspirational. While the cancer survivor who formed a close relationship with the Univ. of Cincinnati football team takes the cake, this story is another example.
    Thanks!
    Bill
