Music on Only A Game 8/22/2009

          • Money City Maniacs by Sloan (from Navy Blues, Murder Records, 1998)

Gary’s Take-This song has nothing to do with fire engine racing, aside from the really cool sirens at the beginning. Though we only use the instrumental portion of the song, there are funny lyrics, including the wonderful line of the chorus, “And the joke is, when he awoke his body was covered in Coke fizz”.

          • Quiet Village by Martin Denny (from Exotica, Scamp Records, 1996)

Gary’s Take-I’m Flying by Mary Martin (from Peter Pan, Original Broadway Cast Recording, RCA Victor, 1954)

          • If you’ve seen moth racers, you know why I chose this song. If you haven’t seen moths, go here:

Gary’s Take-Maybe you’ll catch a glimpse of the lovely and effervescent Sadie Babits.
